Nikoletta Somogyi

I am a User Experience Design graduate student at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. My area of specialization within UX design is designing and researching mental healthcare and clinician-facing healthcare systems. I have worked on volunteer-based initiatives and healthcare-related UX projects across the Netherlands and the US, alongside of my studies over the past years.Beyond my work in UX, you can find me organizing creative projects in The Hague, and participating in art markets throughout the Netherlands.

BlinkLab’s purpose resonates with me because it sits at the intersection of neuroscience, healthcare, and human-centered design. What truly excites me is the challenge of transforming complex technology into workflows and interfaces that feel clear, supportive, and intuitive. Designing systems that are both clinically robust and human-centered is a challenge, and knowing that our work can positively influence both clinical processes and patient experiences, is what I find incredibly motivating. On a daily basis, it’s inspiring to work alongside a team that is united by a shared mission and genuinely committed to making a difference, and I feel grateful to be a part of it!

I joined BlinkLab in July 2025 because I was drawn to its unique and meaningful mission. I saw an opportunity not only to grow as a UX Designer, but also to contribute to work that has real impact.As a Junior UX Designer, I collaborate across a range of projects. My responsibilities include designing and researching a clinician-facing platform, enhancing the overall user experience of our application, contributing to UX writing for guides and documentation, and developing branded materials such as advertisements. My focus is on creating intuitive, seamless experiences that integrate smoothly into clinicians’ workflows and support them in delivering care effectively.
