Morgann Dettingmeijer, MSc
Research Assistant

Background & expertise
I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Leiden University. During my studies, I focused on neurobehavioral research, completing my thesis on the behavioral phenotypes of juvenile Shank2 heterozygous mutant mice.
Why BlinkLab
For my research internship, we evaluated a Shank2 mouse model which is a specific kind of mutation for Autism. I wanted to be more involved in society and actually mean something for people on a research base. That’s why the purpose of BlinkLab suits me very well!
My Role
I joined BlinkLab on the 1st of September 2025. My research internship at Erasmus MC was in collaboration with BlinkLab, which was very interesting and I enjoyed this! Now, I’m a research associate recruiting participants and performing (most of the time) the tests on the participants at Mental Care Group, and analysing the data.
Meet the rest of our team!
