Help make earlier diagnosis possible

Participate in our Autism study!

Early detection of developmental delays in children is essential. If developmental delays such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or ADHD are identified at a young age, proper guidance can be given to the child and their parents, which supports the child’s development. In collaboration with Princeton University and Erasmus MC, we are developing a test to aid in early diagnosis.

Your Child watches an engaging movie

How does it work?

Your child will watch their favorite movie on an iPhone. While they watch, the app will present sounds and light flashes and record their reactions to them. These reactions are valuable indicators of the functioning of specific brain regions.

Who Are we?

Researchers from Princeton University and Erasmus MC are using the BlinkLab technology to study the possible improvement of the diagnostic process for children. This will help guide therapeutic options at earlier ages and make the process less frustrating for children and their families.

Why it Matters

Global Challenge

About 1 in 44 children has been identified with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

No Early Test Available

Currently, there is no objective diagnostic test for assessing autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Early intervention Works

Early intervention improves language, social skills, and IQ in many children with autism.

Participate

If your child (less than 12 years old) was previously diagnosed with a neurodevelopmental condition you might be eligible to participate in one of our studies.
